Alice In Wonderland
In 2018, Bridgette Mongeon installed a bronze scene in Evelyn’s Park in Bellaire, Texas. The scene titled Move One Place On depicts the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. As a tribute to the writer Lewis Carroll and the 150th anniversary of the story, Bridgette hid 150 items within the sculpture.
Step into a storybook world at Evelyn’s Park with Move One Place On, an immersive bronze sculpture by Bridgette Mongeon that brings Alice in Wonderland’s Mad Hatter’s Tea Party to life. This enchanting installation isn’t just art—it’s an adventure. Visitors of all ages are invited to gather around the table, sit among the beloved characters, and become part of Lewis Carroll’s timeless tale.
Because the creation of the Move One Place On sculpture incorporates STEAM principles (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), Bridgette frequently lectures—both in person and via Zoom—about the innovative technology behind her work.
If your group would like a personalized tour at the sculpture, arrangements can be made. Reach out to the artist through her contact form with your group’s details.
Limited edition bronze sculptures, available in 12" and 14" heights, showcase this whimsical Wonderland scene.
Experience the intrigue of the sculpture and the adventure of searching for the Hidden 150 with Bridgette’s new book, Alice and the Hidden 150. This unique volume offers clues about the mysterious 150, along with dedicated space to document your detective work. Part artist’s journal, part guidebook, it provides insights into Bridgette’s creative process. Alice and the Hidden 150 will be available on Amazon in June 2026. This book takes the place of the once available detective book.
